Madball(UK) 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Since installing Ofp and Resistance again(sfter years laying dormant on shelf) I have had a few resolution problems with my comp. The resolutions I use now do not fill the screen and I am left with black borders on my desktop. When using OFP there are borders as well, however I loaded up COD2 and it uses th whole screen. I have updated to the latest Nvidia drivers but it is still the same, any ideas? Cheers (I apologise if this is posted in the wrong place Mods)
Placebo 29 Posted January 11, 2006 What resolution and refresh rate are you using?
Mr_Tea 0 Posted January 11, 2006 I think you have to change the refresh rate, to make the screen fill youre monitor. If that don`t work, you have to change youre monitor settings.
Madball(UK) 0 Posted January 11, 2006 I am using 1280x1024@85hertz on a 19" CRT monitor. Prior to installing OFP this setting filled the screen.
Mister Frag 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Since you are using a CRT, you should be able to press a button on the front of the monitor's bezel that brings up a menu which allows you to change the display timing and stretch the display both vertically and horizontally. The settings are specific to a refresh rate, so you may have to do it once at the Desktop and once in OFP (unless they are running at the same refresh rate).
