der bastler 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Wellcome 2006, year of consolidation. Another year with bananaman, [hetfiled]yeah![/hetfiled] Had a decent silvester party at home with fondue, "Feuerzangenbowle" (movie, not the drink -- perhaps I'll serve it this year's end) and fireworks. Btw, I did not notice any Sweep'n'Recycle squads -- are the kids today too lazy?

GoOB 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Spent the night carrying a drunk and shoeless girl around in some godforsaken suburb without as much of a drop of funny-juice in my blood. Then proceeded to get puked on by the previously mentioned shoeless and drunken girl in a freaking blizzard. Well, atleast it's 2006 now Happy new year everyone, and for next new years. Play it safe, avoid drunkenness.
ran 0 Posted January 2, 2006 Jacques is getting old ... I love his glasses first time he appeared with those on an official presidential speech broadcast. Might be nostalgia though : The hearing aids and now this ... well, he''ll be 74 in November ...
Tovarish 0 Posted January 2, 2006 Almost had a bit of a crisis when a miscommunication with one of my guests resulted with none of them bringing alcohol, by which time all establishments that sell booze in Ontario were closed (at 6pm on New year's eve....what are they thinking?!?), but thankfully French Canada is not too far a drive, and there you can get well stocked at any gas station. Vive le Québec! In fact, we ended up being so well stocked, that after my guests woke up in the morning, they invited themselves over for tomorrow night (or technically tonight) to finish the rest of it off .
