Will addons from OFP work on Armed Assault?

will addons from operation flashpoint work on armed assault? will addons from both resistance and cold wat crisis work? or just one of them/none? i have heard many rumuors about this addon-thing but have never got a concrete answer to this question...thanks in advance

As I recall addons from CWC and Res were compitable with armass.

I could be wrong though.

Yes, I believe it has been confirmed. There is compatibility.

Just to clarify, by addons, do you mean mods? Or are you talking about being able to play the campaigns from OFP+xpacs in AA? Has this been officially confirmed?

Being a heretic, I haven't bought OFP yet I was trying to hold it out until AA came out. Though, if the OFP campaigns can be played in AA, I might just give in and pick it up.

I think BIS shall make a wee program that lets u drag and drop pbos then it compiles it ready for arma, (probably completely wrong)

Since it's just an updated engine, you may not even need to update the PBOs. However, units that looked unbelievable in OFP may look like crap in an updated engine. You never know.

last i heard was, empty vehicles will ,but not units ,something to do with textures on face and animations being diff, just a rumour as all things with arMA
