Can't create client

Hello!

1. I have a problem with Operation Flashpoint GOTY. I want to start with the multiplayer and i clicked on 'new'. Then I saw 'creating client' and after 10 seconds it goes back to the previous screen. This is happen only when i choose sockets and internet in multiplayer menu. Directconnect will work but not sockets?

Tried things:

1. Fix windows socket's with program

2. Reinstall Geforce driver

3. Reinstall flashpoint goty

4. shutdowned firewall and all programs

5. I doesn't have router

Has someone a solution for this problem?  

2. I have other problem with my other machine. When i try to save video configs in flashpoint they will not be saved.

When start flashpoint defaults configs will be loaded?

Check that both the file %flashpoint_root%\Flashpoint.cfg and %flashpoint_root%\Users\%user_name%\UserInfo.cfg are not write-protected (right-click, Properties).

Thanks "HardRock" you solved my saving problem's.

But i don't know how to solve client problem, any advice are welcome!

Are you using a firewall/router or similiar? Make sure you have the required ports open: http://www.theavonlady.org/theofpfaq/resistance/mp/firewall.htm

I don't have router doesn't need forward any ports...

Also i have shutdowned all windows programs / tried reinstall but nothing seems to work.

strange problem...
