Why Delete a WW2OL Thread?

Recommended Posts

Hellfish, read the description to the Off-Topic forum, will ya?

"For discussions not strictly related to Operation Flashpoint. Topics should still be related in some way, for example: military, politics, science and other military games."

So why did you lock (sorry, not "delete") my WW2OL thread and act like it was out-of-place?

Either change the Off-Topic forum description or admit that you're power-crazed.

One random movie from a game does not justify getting its own thread, no matter the movie, no matter the game. In the context of an existing thread about the game it would have been fine. If there wasn't an existing thread for the game then one random movie wasn't sufficient to start a new thread.

Making a new thread to argue the point is not the correct way to discuss a forum issue and appears merely petulant.

There is the pinned ask a mod thread, otherwise there is the option to PM the moderator who closed the thread or myself to ask for a second opinion, next time please use one of those options as starting a new thread to argue a point will be considered violation of the forum rules: §3)Follow the instructions of the moderators.
