DSF CTI:TI 0.1 Alpha Release

We have just released the 0.1 Alpha version of CTI TA, this version plays the same as regular CTI but with a few new units and of course Nucular, Chemical and Biological scuds.

(Not even started yet but has been released due to popular demand)

Please report any bugs to our Forum (there will be a few).

This version is reuqiring some addons that were needed, and subsequently removed.

Hopefully a new build will be out later on today that does not need these units.

Also, we will not include the required units in the CTI:TA download, but as seperate downloads. This makes it better for you guys, so you don't have to keep downloading them.

Full island coverage.

But it will take a fair while to get up to a point where you can afford one.

This helps balance it out a bit.

We've got some ideas for further improving the scuds in later releases, so watch this spot!

Any plans to make a coop version of the DSF CTI?

why not put a limit to there range of 4000 meters pistols.gif making use of the mobility of the scud

This would could be fun.

Though if you find the opponent base, it's just to buy 1 Nuke and the game is over, but then again a nuke Scud probably costs a fortune, right?

CTI is cooperative.

Kind of.

You have a number of playable units on each side.

It's up to you to decide whether to play with your friends or against them.

The scuds are expensive and have a long build time.

They are also a bad idea to have lying around in your base, and are very vunerable.

We're considering adding dud warheads, though this may not occur.

Tried it at our Clan Server.

- Kept getting Temp group error

- When I got enough to build the Scud, it would not build any of them.

- Enemy Ai did not go after the towns.

Don't worry, were just finishing the coding on the first beta... this release will be stable and include alot of the new TA functions.

If you have any of the error codes i could take a look and make sure the've been fixed...

Basiaclly we found quite a few errors in our spliced alpha code

but the beta has been written entirely from the base up.

Watch this space for the update (probably out in a day).
