Messiah 2 Posted July 19, 2005 ok... i had a landy wmik, and i've decided to raise the rear suspension by rotating the whole vehicle around the front axis to make it more accurate.... all great. i re made the osaveze memory points to take into account the fact that the ring mount wasn't horizontal, and hence would have to rotate around a angled memory point... once ingame though, the ring mount stil rotates around the osaveze memory points as if they were vertcially above each other, when they're not - they angled and positions perfectly (zoomed in as much as possible to place them correctly) and at the correct angle as the ring is at... simply, does flashpoint allow you to rotate a turret (of sorts) at a tilt (like the earth at its tilt)... so far it seems like it wont let me, but i cant understand why AND its very very inconvenient... perhaps a work around though (im not sure) is to make everything horizontal again (so the front tires are off the ground this time) and then allow the vehicle to drop down once placed in the editor... sound like a good idea? oyman 0 Posted July 20, 2005 I think that could be a engine limitation
orson 0 Posted July 31, 2005 Messiah , try this Set the model using the weapons rotation axis as verticle , so the weapon is dead level horizontaly, this will make the WMIK look like its pulling a wheely , but now you just set the land contact points to reflect its true position desired in game not tested but in theory it should work remember to adjust all lods concerned to reflect the desired angle  .
