mrn 0 Posted June 27, 2005 Played through with 2 retries. Not too keen on the start, personally I would like to be in control from where the Intro starts, but no matter. You don't expect the AI to survive that do you? The BMP2 got stuck in a couple of places. At the end of the mission I got a missing addons message:epl_weapons. Don't know if that's me or not. Nice one. Does what it says on the tin.

UKSubmariner 0 Posted June 27, 2005 Bugger! I'll have to amend that when I get home! Cheers for that... Just delete that line though mate, they're ain't anything in there that uses that.. lord knows where it came from.
mrn 0 Posted June 27, 2005 No worries. Damn addons can stick to a mission like the proverbial s*** to a blanket.
ade_mcc 0 Posted June 28, 2005 The tension created in this missions was fantastic! I was going to give a good account of my thoughts and feelings through this solid mission, but it waS a bit spoiler heavy so maybe later. Only one problem at the extraction where the helo picked us up, escaped the situation and hovered but then just kept hovering.....for 5 minutes at least anyway until I lept out. I didn't get the missing addons message:epl_weapons, but I didn't think it got that far. Is this a bug? I'll reply tonight and try again.
ade_mcc 0 Posted June 29, 2005 Replayed the mission last night and this time the helo evacuated without a hitch. Got the missing addon error so UnPBo'd the mission and removed the offending item, replayed and finished without a hitch. Good work UKSubmariner / Crazy Ian! Quote[/b] ]Not too keen on the start, personally I would like to be in control from where the Intro starts, but no matter. You don't expect the AI to survive that do you? The mission relys on being caught in the ambush so I think the design and flexability of the start works. Your in this situation - 'How do you get out of it?' With an option to play from the start of the intro, the mission is more likely to turn into a long distance sniping scenario, and much less of an ambush. mrn 0 Posted June 29, 2005 Quote[/b] ]Your in this situation - 'How do you get out of it?' Fair comment, after re-reading my post I may have come across a bit gruff. Not my intention. This was well put together it's just there are a couple of things that could have been sorted easily with a spot of beta-testing. http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse/index.php
