misc OPFOR

Recommended Posts

i was playng some time ago on textures mapping for resistance civil model.

using lithUnwrap ive changed mapping to fit such texture layout:

opfor0.jpg

ive made only one lod of this model, now it has some selections missing due to converting it betwen 3ds and p3d few times

anyway, im not willing to use it anymore, not in near future at least

so if anyone wants to play with it, be my quest.

I been doing something to the civis model too, but I never end up with something that I really like, so I end up deleting them.

When I get something that I like there is allways something in the maping that don't convince me, so if you don't mind I'll have a look to this, but I only have little time in my hands for that during the day, so anything I do won't be guarantied to be released before AA or even OFP2 is out. whistle.gif But this you have done will certanlly hellp me out with my own textures maping.

Looks very good BTW.

Regards.

I'm trying to, but like I said at the top, I'll be taking my time due to RL. confused_o.gif So if somebody with more experience wants to use them to seriously work in an addon, just ignore that I'm doing something, and work on it biggrin_o.gif If I make any good progres in this I'll be adding some more textures, that's if I can get them as good as Offtime's ones, lol.

BTW, have you encripted or done something to the P3D in the zip? I'm doing this the old fasion way, using Mike Schell texture swap, tex view, and Photoshop, and so far I'm getting an over flow error with texture swap. Any ideas?

Is not like if I haven't done that before, lol. I thought I really had the hang of it after creating some funny looking civilians and vehicles that actually managed to go ingame without errors, lol. Apart for the "Colonial wars" mod jeeps, that I retextured the last time, everything I made wasn't of my satisfaction, and I end up loosing them because of a tantrum. banghead.gif

Gosh, I love this new smilies.

@ Ironsight, it would be nice to see them African militias made with this.

Regards.

this is MLOD model so it wont work with texture swap

its more o2 base for making something playable

there is no way it will work without o2 ingerention ;-)

as i wrote in first post

this is just plane model, missing selection, no lods...

If you want you can send it over to me. Can always use some OPFOR vehicles and when you change the model a bit it could easily be used as MUTT or M38 smile_o.gif
