I rememberd some one retextured the ONS Griffen (sp?) or UH-1N and did a pretty nice job at turning into a Marine one...

Yes, it looked great, i dont have it anymore and i cant find it either but it looked really good, anyone know who the author was rock.gif .

Prep H used not the best textures for his UH-1N. It will be nice, if someone create a better for 1Y.

Preperation H textures are fine. What would be the problem of using those rock.gif

Face it, there are just not enough addon makers in the community to create new textures for each new model, so the best solution would be to recycle the textures of the UH1N.

So unless you start to make incredible nice textures the UH1N textures are fine for the UH1Y.........

i like making textures, but i have problem with finding ppl that could model for me things i want to make textures for :P

on topic, i think that if theres noone who could make new textures then why Badscull shouldnt use Prep. ones ? like what ? if he will, we will not be happy about this addon ? bullshit.

A word of advice for you, mate. First try to import this into O2 and if you achieve the success in that, then ask for help. I might be wrong, but this model looks just too hi-poly for ofp and if you're thinking about reducing poly count specially for ofp - forget about it... but like I said - I hope I'm misjudging the polycount. It looks awesome, anyway...

Well, actually I think it is quite low poly and it will fit OFP nicely.

It has smoothing groups well assigned and no meshsmooth modifier.

looks like same polycount as your MI-8 Gordy.

should work in ofp, (but it doesnt mean its low poly as for a game tounge_o.gif in my opinion smile_o.gif )

For being pre-o2, this model already looks outstanding. Hope the poly count won't be affected in transition. OFP2's crew couldn't even mount their exhaust fairing's correctly on their Uh-1 Yankee model.
