Trouble with updating OFP

Reinstall game from original CD disc and try again.

Thats what it says. I have tried to copy the same file off the CD several times but it gets the same result always. What should i do?

Dunno, but don't think it's a problem of the CD. Mine is 17,5 MB (18.431.530 Bytes).

Ahh well fuck that. Once my mate comes home from his lil' trip im gonna borrow his OFP and try it instead. If that does not work.. then DAMN!

Check your CD's ASPI layer. If that's not enough, try disabling DMA for your CD drive. If that's not enough, try disabling DMA for your hard disk as well.

Whatever eventually works (there might be more than what's mentioned above), just remember to reenable DMA for both your CD and hard drive after installation is complete.
