VladAlex 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Do you know if the size is 10x10 km, or 100x100 km ?
dmakatra 1 Posted May 24, 2005 10x10 km = 100km2. Where were you on math class?
VladAlex 0 Posted May 24, 2005 L0L ! I Perfectly know 10x10 = 100. But is 100sq is 10x10 ? (im not english). Some english people said that 100sq was 100x100 km... ! So, I doubt. 10x10 km new island will be a shame for BIS. Because we have 25x25km island and im making a 51x51km one.
dmakatra 1 Posted May 24, 2005 Well, it says on the back of my Resistance box that Nogova is 100km2 so expect the size of Nogova, if that makes it simpler. 100 x 100 is 10000 km2, not 100km2. Wonder what'll happen when we got rocky places so we need to start using km3 instead. 100sq would mean 100 square kilometres, if I'm not misstaking. 100sq = 100km2
VladAlex 0 Posted May 24, 2005 1sq is not = 1km2 ! LOL ! To easy ! 1km2 = 0.38 sq.mi (US) square mile

macguba 0 Posted May 24, 2005 The point is that 100 square kilometres (100km^2) is not the same as 100 kilometres square (100,00km^2).
