The model are made by Evgeni (Flashpointzone.com) and textures are mine ...JUSTPROF (cars.flashpointzone.com) We will make it soon completely... Here is one screen..and others you can find on FLASHPOINTZONE We realy want to know your opinion about it
ag_smith 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Our opinion is that there is 'i' missing in the links, you've given us. Then we can't really read russian, so you could give us some more info about it. Judging from the screenshots, it looks very nice, but it seems you have to make textures darker and add some nice little detail, cause it looks very plain. Â Edit: woot, the links fixed now, so nevermind...

JUSTPROF 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Yes..it is plain..cause it use staelth technology...and have not so much little sruff.. It is a BM-2T STALKER ...it has 30mm gun like on BMP2 but modernized, 2 IGLA (AA rockets)..and 6 ATAKA rockets, grenadelauncher and machinegun...max speed 95km/h 24 tons-weight It has a lot of recon and weapone installations... It is a secret APC, thats why we have not so much information about this equipment...but weapon is real and we will try to make it more realistic... here you can see STALKER in real life with special pattern with stripes...it s more likely to be made for show..we will use desert, and russian camo for apc and tanks... Stonedge 0 Posted February 21, 2005 The textures on the side above the tracks are looking used, but the top looks new. Nice model, just the textures is all I can say to try to give positive criticism. I've got a friend who works for a gamecompany and he's askes me often what I think of his models and textures. I'm not saying I am the man, not at all, I can't make textures. I just try to help you. Stonedge
-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Strange that the next-gen APC would be based on the BMP/BMD line of APCs, after the BMP-4 was a conversion of the T-55... Looking good nevertheless! 4 Iglas and 6 Atakas? Talk about firepower... hope they have lotsa reloads inside!
killagee 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Great subject for an addon! THe stalker 2T will be great. How about a Minotaur 3T multi-purpose Amphibious vehicle?
JUSTPROF 0 Posted February 22, 2005 Armored reconnaissance vehicle 2T Stalker    Developer:  Operator:  Russia  Taking part in the daily mobility demonstration at IDEX 2001 is the 2T Stalker combat reconnaissance vehicle, which is claimed to have a number of advanced features. Built by the Minotor Service Unitary Enterprise of Belarus, the vehicle has been under development for several years, with the prototype running for the first time late last year. Although developed as a private venture, the local army is understood to have an initial requirement for a first batch of 30 vehicles. It is also being offered on the export market, its long range making it especially suitable for operations in the Middle East. (But of corse privete company can not develope such thing alone...and Russian and Bellarussian specialist take part in it) The 2T Stalker is being promoted as a dedicated long-range reconnaissance system with a maximum top speed of 95km/h and a maximum range of 1,000km. Some of the chassis and automotive components are those used in the 2S6 self-propelled gun/missile air defence system which, as well as being used by Russia, has also been sold to India. It has a crew of three, consisting of driver, commander and gunner. The vehicle is armed with a stabilised 30mm cannon and 7.62mm co-axial machine gun, which is aimed by the commander or gunner using an advanced day/night sighting system that also incorporates a laser rangefinder. The day/night sighting system is used to lay and fire the weapons, and also for surveillance and target tracking, with the information being automatically relayed to a higher command post. The 2T is also fitted with two retractable launchers, one for two fire-and-forget surface-to-air missiles, the other for two anti-tank guided missiles. A 30mm grenade launcher is fitted, plus a quantity of anti-tank mines that are laid manually. Combat survivability is enhanced by the incorporation of stealth characteristics, including careful shaping of the hull with no sharp edges and the use of special paint. It is about STALKER firepower in game...it will be like BMP2 but with more stronge atack power cause it can launch 2 rockets for the short period of time (like Breadly)...also it has grenadelauncher that make it very effective agaist troops...and of course we made smt with visibility of stalker for radars. Unfortunatly not much cause in OFP enemy can see or not...nothing can be between... here some real pictures http://topgun.rin.ru/cgi-bin....lng=eng And sorry for my bad english

fallchild 0 Posted March 10, 2005 Evgeni, you need to host the picture online at a site like Photobucket. It won't work if you just link to it on your PC.
