can i go ne further in patching from v.1.46 to ne thing higher, and will that help me install resistance because im having a problem installing it.

Patch 1.46 is the final one you can go with Non Resistance. If you have resistance, install it and then install the 1.96 patch. What problems are you having w/ installing Resistance?

i get a corrupt file when i install it on the o.pbo file and it closes down the installation

It might be your CD-ROM drive that's not working.

yea, its not the cd rom. and yea its the exact thing, i was just wondering if ne one knew if u needed a recent patch or something.

Check if your CD is scratched or perhaps even try to clean it with a soft cloth. There is no patch to help you.

i was able to copy the resistance cd and used the copy version to copy all the files on the cd to my hd. is there ne way i can play it that way?

hi, im having trouble installing resistance. it freezes when i get to the o.pbo file and says its corrupt or something like that is there ne thing that you can do or say to help me fix this.

It's usually either a VIA chipset motherboard or an ASPI layer problem, try reading this item in Avon's FAQ
