Maldita Vecindad 1 Posted January 11, 2002 Hi, recently bough a copy of Operation Flashpoint European Edition at www.Dragon.ca I download it the upgrade to ver. 1.2 patch to eliminate the bugs and to be able to use the new vehicles. So far all have been a disaster. I haven't benn able to upgrade my PCgame. Every time I try to run the pacth it flashes up with the OFP logo and then it displays the message about "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application". My CD is in perfect condition (brand new and no scratches) and my CD-ROOM is new too (CDWRITER model LG 8160B 16/10/40 IDE). The drive letter of my CDROOM is G:. I even tried the 1.1 patch but it failed too. I used the OFPcheck utility and it tell me that everything is all right. My motherboard is a Iwill with the VIA kt133A chipset (upgraded to the latest 4in 1 4.35 drivers). well that sums up my problem. Please I need your help to play OFP. thanks!!!! tlx 0 Posted January 11, 2002 Give Avon's FAQ a try and search for "insert". There's an article on it. Good Luck.

Placebo 29 Posted January 12, 2002 Keko you using 2k or XP? If so try this http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ps/Aspi/aspi.win_98.me.2k.xp.zip If it won't work automatically manually copy the files to the correct direcs, if you look at the bat file you will see which file is to go where, reboot and it "should" be installed properly.
