pops-pl; I think the Lost Brothers pack includes some of these guys, or something.... IIRC, they were SEK. Not much difference really. They're German special police, right?

Edit: Ah, I see they're Austrian. I've seen a documentary about these guys recently. They don't have a lot of high-tech toys, but they are very tough and determined. I'm glad they're on our side.

I just took a sweep the other nite through tons of ruskin sites,

reading on spetsnaz, mvd, gru, omon, sobr etc. and I instantly felt like

downloading 120 platoons of soviet era soldiers!!!

They don't have a lot of high-tech toys

That's not all true, they just must not show more than a quart of their high-tech equipment. All in all this force is kept very secret, you won't even hear about most of their actions. They are also said to be one of the best anti-terrorism-forces of the world.

Though I'd be glad to see them in game, it would be very hard to build them accurately, since as I said there isn't very much information available about them. Just try a search on google, you'll find hundreds of pages but they'll all contain basically the same content.

Just a little more information about the Cobra Force for those who are interested: They were originally introduced in the early 70s, but over the years the jobs and number of units changed very much, they weren't really a dedicated force. In 2002 finally they were put into place officially with the new name Cobra, as in all special forces candidates have to comply to very high demands. Their jobs include flight escort, fight against terrorism and missions of medium and high priority and danger. The Cobra Force disposes of helicopters, combat divers, parachutists, snipers and has to be able to reach any point in the country with at least 10 units within 70 minutes.
