KeyCat 131 Posted October 11, 2004 Hi Medicus, Quote[/b] ]Is it possible to assign more than one "target-group" generally and especially for MP? Unfortunately not To get multiple target groups working the script would need to be re-written from scratch and I don't know if I ever gonna have time to do that.... Some have tried different tricks (i.e running the script twice etc.) but can't recommend using them since I know they will will not work as intended. So unless I win on the lottery Group Link II will be good for co-op's with one target group (i.e max 12 soldiers). Note, while playing a mission you can of course split that 12 group to two 6 man teams (or whatever) and the script will work just fine. Commando84 0 Posted October 17, 2004 hi Keycat, i have a small idea for the next version of group link script, it may take some time until next version comes out but i tink it would be cool to add bas blackhawks that could come in and fast rope in soldiers and if the ground soldiers that where fast roped in or dropped or parachuted feel out numbered or outgunned they would make a run back to their chopper that would be extracting them back to a base where they could heal themself at a field hospital , ammo truck, repair truck and so on, and maybe even go back to fighting again if they are 4 a.i's left in the group or moore i think that would be a super cool feature but of course maybe that would make the script require bas blackhawks but it would be cool if you made a special version that would be able to use 'em in a cool way
KeyCat 131 Posted October 18, 2004 Sorry, I only plan to have support for BIS standard units in GL II by default. However, I'm currently working on a new way for users to add 3rd party addons of their choice so expect an update before Santa comes to town.... /Christer (a.k.a KeyCat)
