stu 0 Posted September 28, 2004 When i try to install an update i get random errors saying error found in file. I've reinstalled the game but it's still the same. thought the game is working fine. I've also had some problems with other games & Programs giving me errors when installing them but they work ok when i click retry in the error box. I've tryed some of the things on the troubleshooting FAQ forum. But it dident help. And the linkto that OFPCheck thing is not working. Thx for any help. My pc WinXP Pro SP2 AMD Athlon 2500+ 512mb GeForce FX 5600 MB, DFI Lanparty NFII ultra B
theavonlady 2 Posted September 28, 2004 What's the exact error message you are getting? Be specific. Also, make sure your PC is 100% virus and spyware free.
stu 0 Posted September 28, 2004 Hi thx for replying. The error is Error found in file Missions\Resistance\R04RatHole.noe.pbo(5f0cd203!=d52c3ed8). But it's a diffrent file name each time. When i click abort it says one or more files in game instalation are modified or dammaged. Reinstall game. I can't understand why it says files are dammaged and the game is working fine I'm a 100% virus and spyware free.
theavonlady 2 Posted September 28, 2004 Did you search The FAQ for "checksum error"?
turms 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Could it be a problem with your RAM, if you experience it in other games also...dunno
Acecombat 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Just copy the files which give you the error in the patching from the CD directly and overwrite previous ones. THAT solves the problem i had it once too.
