Dark-TM- 0 Posted July 22, 2004 I want to ask a Question regarding OFP and the "FADE". If I use this "God Mod" Trainer found at ATWAR : http://www.atwar.net/download.php?view.1942 "FADE" will be activated and my Game will degrade ? Note that this "God Mod" is only for Single Player use and it dosen't even work in Multiplayer... (I seriously don't care if he dont work in it, Cheating Online is retarded.) No Replys whit "Cheating is bad" please. Dark
Norris 0 Posted July 22, 2004 Probably not, but try it and you'll see. FADE is only activated by faulty serial key, AFAIK. So if that hack fools around with it (not very likely), there should be no problem. Anyway, why would you need the god mode, anyway? You can use savegame more than once, you know. Mister Frag 0 Posted July 22, 2004 You can use savegame more than once, you know. No, not normally. You get to save the game state only ONCE per mission. However, there is a documented SP cheat that allows multiple saves, as well as a couple of utilities that let you have multiple save points per mission (by renaming the existing savegame file). Well you do have only one savegame, but you can save it more than once (that means the old savegame gets erased). You just press shift and - then type savegame and it will automatically save the game. As easy as that. Oh, and if you want to get all the campaign missions, do exactly the same as for the savegame, only that you type campaign instead of savegame at the end. Baron Hurlothrumbo IIX 0 Posted July 22, 2004 Or you can task switch out and rename the old savegame.

Skulleye 0 Posted July 24, 2004 "Oh trust me...FADE is real alright. Major Fubar, try to change some stuff in the OFP exe and you'll find out for yourself" This is a quote by Sith from BIS, in this thread. And then this from the same thread: " Dude, only unofficial tools might cause Fade (only of they change the core code)." So if the trainer modifies the .exe, or some other "core code", it'll probably activate FADE. If you find out that it doesn't activate FADE, can you post it here so we know? I've always wanted to run around in a mission (previously completed, no cheating) and have fun without worrying about being killed

Dark-TM- 0 Posted July 24, 2004 Ok, I tryed the Trainer but it's not 100% 1.96 compatible... I was having a Crash to Desktop about each 5 minutes. and it dosen't modify the .exe files. To bad it dosen't work. :P

That's too much work, it'd be much better if I could just start a trainer, and then run around invincible I want them to shoot at me without me being hurt. About 1.96 compatibility, have you tried with 1.91 instead? Maybe it works with that.
Dark-TM- 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Could someone test it ?
Skulleye 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Alright, I can try it. If FADE activates, I needed a reinstall anyway EDIT: Tried it for a while with 1.96. Everything worked fine, and I didn't experience any crashes. I guess it's not necessary for me to try it with 1.91 then, as it seems that it's only you who have that problem. But you could try it yourself if you still have the .exe for 1.91. Thanks for the link to the trainer btw
wildbrumby 0 Posted July 26, 2004 I tried it as well. No problem what so ever. Great fun actually. I'm playing the resistance campaign as Rambo at the moment. The rest of my squad are just sitting back in a safe place twiddling their thumbs, while I tear around shooting everything up.
