Sniper_Kyle 0 Posted July 6, 2004 Ok, my problem with my old copy of OFP was that I threw away the instruction booklet after installing resistance because I figured I would never need it again. Well, I was cleaning my hard drive because of all the viruses on it and forgot about how OFP was installed so i tried to recover it but failed. Anyways, I tried to reinstall but I had no cd key . Now, I had the registry key left on my old computer because I had it installed there too. I retrieved that but it doesnt look like a cd key at all and it doesnt fit in the cd key form when installing ofp. I asked about this in the OFPEC forums but they locked the thread and said it could be related to piracy . Anyways i filled out the codemasters customer support form with what happened and they sent me a nice copy of OFP today which i was really happy about......until I found out they sent NO cd key!!! I guess i will have to wait or write emails to some mailbot at custservice@codemastersusa.com Well thx for ur help and i cant wait to get back to editing and even maybe submit a mission worth getting on M.O.M. benu 1 Posted July 6, 2004 If you still got the registry keys on your old computer you can just copy the ofp folder over to the new computer and install the registry keys and ofp should work.
