zecke 0 Posted June 7, 2004 Hi all! I have the following Prob: We use a router (netgear wgr614v2) and 2 PCs. Often we play CTI / Battlefield online and sometimes when my Teammate (using the second PC) is already in a vehicle and i am joining for example as gunner, I will have long desync's and / or connection losses. But my Teammate is still in the game. Anybody knows somthing about this Prob? (there is no ip conflict or somthing else, port forwarding is not nescessary, i only forwarded 2302 to first PC for direct connection over ip) Perhaps its "just" a server Prob and not mine, but i dont know.. Ok. THX for help. cu ,._ZECKE_., 3: Ready! 1: 3, Goto http://people.freenet.de/zeckennest 3: Roger!
SpecOp9 1 Posted June 10, 2004 Could possibly be a game error, and nothing to do with your router...
=Matt= 0 Posted June 10, 2004 do u have enough up/down stream to play in 2 pc? when i had adsl 256/60 i had serious desync problems with ofp, coz my uploadstream was too low... a slow pc could cause desync too...
Mister Frag 0 Posted June 10, 2004 I have a WGR614v1, and use my system to host. That hasn't caused any problems. I have not tried two PCs behind the router to connect to outside servers. Which version of OFP / OFP:R do you use?
