Ghost's lancia stratos

Once I saw it on ofp.info I grabbed it and it not only looked great but had excellent rallying performance!!!

Nearly flawless but for the fact that the driver was seated in the right seat... and one of the pictures on the site showed a unit's hands seated on the left hand side as it should be... Now either that wasn't the driver and it's a bug on the vehicle's side, or something is making my OFP seat the driver on the right hand side...

I sure hope it handles better than the KLR prairie.

It was quite a disappointment. The thing bounces all over the place and when you start going even moderately fast it starts wobbling out of control.

It's a real shame because the appearance of the addon is perfect. It's just the handling of it is the screaming shits.

It'd be great if it were fixed.

ya the lancer rally car is really fun to drive around with, the atv sucks because of its "jumpyness"

I "started" retexing the ATV with Nogovan Oak and gave it some new Dunlop tires.

It looks much better but still drives like a beach ball.

 

EDIT: The Stratos is great though...nice job on that!

jumpyness by which you mean it turns back and forth and is impossible to keep straight?

pssh tahts an easy fix. depbo it and change this factor

turnCoef=1.2;

to

turnCoef=0.8;

tested: much better. no more jumpyness

the russians ran it over twice thou. . guess parking it int eh middle of the road like a roadblock was a bad idea lol

Lol, I remember an ATV beta which drove like a beach ball but that was ON THE ROAD as well... at least this one is a great asphalt-hog...

What about the fact that the Lancia Stratos driver is sitting in the wrong seat?? Can anybody fix that up??

That did help quite a bit Pappy.

It still tends to zigzag out of control if you're going flat out on offroad surfaces but it's occurrence is minimal now.
