Things missing from the ofp 1985 timeline

Recommended Posts

Lets see being in the service about that time kind noticed the lack of a number of units.

M561 Gama Goat was a weird tactical truck that was able to go almost anywhere and even swim. Neat vehicle when they didn't break down.

M38A1 Jeep which was used along side the M151A1 and A2 jeep.

M88A1 tank recovery vehicle.

M578 tracked recovery vehicle.

M35A2 6X6 Duece and a half. Really irks me seeing all theses BHD missions using the new Bigfoot 5 ton trucks the Rangers didn't have at that time Still too new and commonly broke down. . =P

M1008 CUTVEE (sp) which are the Chevy pick up truck and Blazers the army used with the humvee up to this day.

M880 w300 Dodge power wagon came in almost as many flavors as the humvee does. They lost out being gas powered, but you seldom got rained on sitting in the drivers seat driving them.

M48 Main battle tank.

M274 Mech Mule

M114A1 APC They were finally leaving the reserves and getting used for target pratice about them but kinda still say duty in somplaces, my unit parked ours in 1990 but mostly as OPFOR units. Made convinving BMPs with a little modifcation to the body. But the Army was trying to get the gas powered vehicles out of system.

Just mearly suggesting if a addon maker was bored theses are kinda missing from the old OFP timeline, some of the stuff seen in mods but it requires waiting for a total converssion, or wasn't up to standard that is comon around here.
