miles teg 1 Posted April 10, 2004 If you look at the location of the Stryker in that picture its easy to see how it was destroyed by an RPG. Notice the very steep slope above it. A shot from that angle would have bypassed the slat armor and slammed into the top of the APC. This was how that one M1 tank was penetrated in Fellujah. They hit and penetrated the top armor. calm_terror 0 Posted April 11, 2004 I jsut realized Sigma that you could make the Stryker MEV (Ambulance) version since it is unarmed. and you can make the Stryker MGS (105mm gun platform) version since it have a low profile turret... the mortar carrier would be semi hard and needs to be UA complant the recon verision is basical the apc verision with more sensors and stuff. the command and control one would be nice for those who like to have a command post. i don't think it is armed either.
