KingN 251 Posted March 25, 2004 I'm using photoshop 7.0. I make a picture and add the alpha channel and paint all the visible parts white in it. When I select RGB channels plus the Alpha channel the visible parts are normal coloured and the transparent parts are all redish, right? Ok, I save the picture as 32 bit TGA and open it with TextView and see that there are no transparency at all. It's just the normal picture I made, no alpha channels, nothing seems transparent. I've also tried to save the pic first as TGA and the put the Alpha channel but no use. Actually I'm not using this for any model or addon but as a picture in a mission, like the TV screen pic by bis, you know what I mean? Should the transparency be seen in TexView somehow or can it be seen only when I run the pic ingame? Please help I've searched about this but none of the previous threads helped me. kegetys 2 Posted March 25, 2004 Its a bug in Photoshop 7 (Or a changed behaviour, the alpha comes from the layer transparencies when saving as TGA instead of the alpha channel), there's a fix for it in adobe site. edit: here
