Sgt. Stryker 0 Posted March 12, 2004 OK I searched these forums and i searched OFPEC and I still cant figure out how to put in my ouwn ambient sounds. For example I have a ogg file named rain.ogg I want that sound to always be plaing in my mission. I have tried everything and i cant fisure out what the hell is going wrong. Skul 0 Posted March 12, 2004 In your description.ext, put this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">class CfgEnvSounds { sounds[] = {rain}; class rain { name = "My rain sound"; sound[] = {"rain.ogg", db+10, 1.0}; soundNight[]={"rain.ogg", db+10, 1.0}; titles[] = {}; }; }; Then, in your mission, put a trigger with an Axis A and B of 0. In the Condition field, replace 'this' with 'true', so the trigger activates automatically, and in the Effects section of the trigger, there should be 'My rain sound' in the environment drop down box.
