marine26thmeu 0 Posted February 22, 2004 I've searched the forums high and low making sure that this wouldn't be a double post, but if there is I'm sorry. This is regarding finding a rather rare addon, the Walther P99L done by USMC Sniper. This is so I can use with the re-textured USMC pack of Earl and Suchey's USMC. Now I know you all are probably figuring well the MARPAT is already out, but this re-textured pack has a wide variety of different weapons and these units have the regular Woodland scheme with a DES MARPAT helmet cover. I've been looking really hard on the net from OFP; CZ, Org, AT, ATWAR, BASE, etc and have not been able to find it. There are several P99s out there, the first from the CS conversion by USMC Sniper himself and Schakal, but not the P99L from USMC Sniper. I had emailed him several months ago, but never got a reply, if anyone has a link or can tell me where to go I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The Retexturer probably confused Marine Sniper's P99 with Shackals or vice versa. Have you tinkered with using either handgun? I'm sure it will work. Try using both Shackals and USMC Sniper's guns. If it doesn't work, you can always edit the CPP file to use whatever P99 is available. Just check the P99 CPP's weapon classname and add it to the Retextured Marines CPP classname. Worse comes to worse... use E&S MARPAT... [rant] Anyway... a pox on addonmakers who make their addons dependant on other third party addons!! This classically illustrates how difficult it is to use an old addon down the track and you can barely FIND the other addon. *sigh* [/rant] Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sniper, I figured you were either busy or didn't use that email anymore. The Walther works, sounds, and fires like a charm. Thanks again for all your guys help.
