IceFire 0 Posted February 18, 2004 I know I already posted about this but my problem is back. What happens is all my desktop items are huge. My internet browsers are huge. And these sentences that I am typing are huge. I called some computer support specialist for Compaq and he wanted me to pay like 70 dollars to extend my warranty. The warranty just ended like on the 11th of this month. He did say that all my display adaptors/ or drivers need to be reset to their original settings. How do I do this? He wouln't tell me how. He said that I must pay. Like I am going to pay after this problem is constantly happening time after time. I have a Compaq presario Intel pentium 4 CPU 1700 MHz 640 MB RAM Nividia GeForce2 MX Windows ME Direct x 9.0b HELP!
ralphwiggum 6 Posted February 18, 2004 moving to OT since this is NOT related to OFP troubleshooting. try this. right click on your desktop, then properties=>settings. see if the screen area is correct. if it's 640X400, move it up. look for one that fits you. If you don't know: right click(open space) > properties> settings There should be a slider bar there that is adjustable. By the sound of your specs, I think 1280x1024 might work for you well, and anything less would be good. 1024x, 840x,640x, etc.
theavonlady 2 Posted February 23, 2004 If I recall correctly, GF2 MX cards are pretty buggy and Nvidia isn't obliging when it comes to ironing out bugs related to them.
