Patch problems

Hi

I'm having problems upgrading my goty ed to version 1.91, i've been able to do it once before, that was after i installed the game for the first time. But when i try upgrading now, it stops at 0.pbo and won't continue. I mean it just stops responding so i have to ctrl alt delete to get rid of it.

My comp specs are

1.3ghz

312mb RAM

64mb GeForce 3d card

it just doesn't make sense, i've tried numerous times, and numerous patches from different sites.

Do i need to install the game using a different key code? or does the cd have a fault in it?

Please help.
