Real War was dumb anyway, All it was pretty much a weapon tweak. And some new vehicles. And do you think your childish post is gonna get the sdk released now?

But BIS is not to blaim!!!! They have released information of how to create models for use in OFP to the I44 team!! And I heard they even given them a sample model, the M1A1. Nothing can of course be implemented yet, but OFP ready models can be made.

That's no good news...the RWMG was the last hope to make this game good anyway...

I still remember Falcon 4.0, released in 1998.

Development was shut down, 1 year after release, and the Sim was still not fully functional, until some Mod groups began work with it's source code (that was stolen from Microprose)

And they made the best, and most realitic F-16 Sim that has ever been on PC.

I had the hope, the same thing would be possible with OFP, but now it seems that I can trow it into the bin.

Real War wasn;t going to make this game any better. In fact I think it would have been one of the s**tty mods that would have been released. Operation Vietnam, and Invassion 1944, will probably be the best 2, atleast so far. So in my Eyes this mod is no big loss at all. Like I said all it was a WEAPON weak, to make the guns more "realistic", which probably wouldnt have been good anyway.

The reason for the Real War mod being closed down has little to do with SDK issues, as you can read on their site:

Hello.

I might as well get right to the point.

The Real War Mod is no longer in development, all work has stopped, and we will no longer be releasing any modifications for the game Operation Flashpoint.

We have made the decision to stop the mods development because, work, schooling and personal reasons have restricted our time, and in turn have prevented myself (Luke Jones-Sexton) and Martijn (Speeeedy) to put the time and effort into the mod that it needs and deserves.

The management of the mod would like to greatly thank the community for there wonderful support and help.

We also need to give a special thanks to the team that made this mod happen while it lasted; there hard work has produced some truly great material that will sadly never get to see the light of day, this reason has made this decision to stop the mod’s production harder than we hoped it would be.

We thank all of you, and good bye.

So if i went back from school and had good utilities to make models i would even have tiem to play other games...
