Bah, its been a few years now, I still would like some information from them,don't necessarily need the models

I think they were smart in not giving them out,mainly because alot of low quailty buggy replicas of their own addons may have flooded the community,may have seriously interfered with the normal gameplay

I don't think you necessarily need to strongarm them either..I may recall reading that you may request them? Prolly if you show your a addon maker that won't duplicate and host their stuff ,maybe certain terms and maybe not possible at all,not sure

I have to agree with BraTTy. I think the community is strong enough on its own with addon making, but there are still some areas in the scripting and some model selections etc that I would like see clarified. But 9 times out of 10 there is someone in the community that has worked it out or can put you on to someone who has.

BIS gave me the aircraft selection points when I requested them eons ago, and I'm sure if you have a prolem the community cannot help with, BIS will more than likely be obliging.. after all everything the communit has done, is doing, and will continue to do, is enhancing the game 100 fold.

IIRC The demo models (via Vixer) don't include a boat or

a plane - one example of each in MLOD would perhaps be

useful in terms of helping new addon makers.
