Acecombat 0 Posted December 16, 2003 Ok wtf is this error i just played OFP last night it wass fine i d/lded the black apache addon right now and staretd OFP to test it and got this shitty error everytime at the very start of OFP even the startup screen hasnt loaded then. Anyone know what might have caused this? Its even making my OFP main menu screen go FUBAR , and no mission starts all give a initial standby screen and then CTD Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Acecombat 0 Posted December 16, 2003 Ok i found out what happened after one whole re install , i know i shouldnt have taken such a drastic measure but i am reinstall happy. Its that new zombie addon its causing the whole OFP to go FUBAR and i dont know why , it only happened when i put the black apache in the folder though so maybe they both cant exist peacefully huh? pitufo 0 Posted December 16, 2003 I had that problem awhile ago... I'm trying to remember how I got rid of it. I think I got it after installing the ECP pack but I have the ECP pack running fine now. I remember I ended up moving all my addons out of the opf folder and then uninstalling and reinstalling opf- twice! because even after I re-installed opf from the original CD's I was getting this error. I know! WTF! I even tried downloading a fresh copt of the config.bin file as well but that didn't work. The problem was solved (if I remember correctly) when I moved all my addons back into the addon folder-without the ECP or whatever addon it was I thought was causing the problem. I *think* that was all... Don't ask me why it worked! I'm running the ECP addon fine now that I installed via OPFWATCH from Karrillion's site. Hope this helps. I also remember writing something to the avon lady,... Could be I also emailed her my solution to the problem and could be she still has it archived somewhere.....
