R. Gerschwarzenge 0 Posted November 11, 2003 Have you tried launching OFP preferences and clicking the autodetect-button? It sometimes helps with weird problems.
sanctuary 19 Posted November 11, 2003 Hello I run OFP with a Geforce 2 , i am using the 30.82 drivers (they are WHQL) from nvidia and all is smooth "enough" for OFP ;) . Maybe you should try this driver , as it seems good for other games too There are a lot of drivers that can be found , but not all are suitable and stable for your own system , despite what nvidia can claim . Usually , earlier driver are the best for Geforce 2 , because they were optimised for it , after when Geforce 3 - 4 - FX appeared, the optimisation were just for those and could be responsible of geforce 2 loss of performances Edit : i just read this topic on guru3D forums http://www.guru3d.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69687 It seems that 12.41 is always a very good driver , despite it is not the most recent one. theavonlady 2 Posted November 14, 2003 Have you searched The FAQ for "freeze"? Lots to check. I don't believe you should revert back to such antiquated drivers.
Karpaasi 0 Posted November 17, 2003 Im tried changing BIOS options but that doesnt work and All drivers (over 10) that Im tried freeze or crash to desktop. So i still stay in antique 12.41.
