giskard 0 Posted December 11, 2001 It would appear some of you are not having the fun you should have with a game like OFP. I found that my online gaming was rather dull until I started to play against people I know. The best way to get to know people who like the same game is to join a clan. I know trying to get your friends to buy the same games you like is difficult. I have been down that road and even if they do buy the game, the chances are they wont play it as often as you would like. Then when you get bored of a game you would normally leave the clan. Well my own clan supports more than the one game so the members tend to join other branches and play other games when that happens. New games are adopted as the interest for that game grows. Our moto is Unity, honor, Peace This translate in practical terms to no hot heads allowed. We vet all members to make sure they wont flame or cause offense to other players. We like to play fair and with in the rules established by the clans members. Our home life comes first and fun online is our primary goal. If you dont like flaming people, like to have fun and feel your not getting the best out of OFP online then visite out website and read our forums. IF you like what you see, you can enlist using the menu option for that purpose. Id like to see more European players join OF as we have a lot of American players right now. But this is not a problem as both our US servers and our UK servers are playable from either side of the pond. http://www.orionfaction.com/ You may find this puts the fun you have been missing back in to the game. Especially when it comes to driving tanks and other vehicles that require team work. Our OFP branch will be opening very soon, so nows a good time to join. (we are already playing it and some of us have been for some time now). Giskard
Dawdler 0 Posted December 11, 2001 You know, there is a squad page for that...
giskard 0 Posted December 12, 2001 sorry missed it, the post was sparked by some discontent in another thread. Giskard
Mister Frag 0 Posted December 12, 2001 I think the post is relevant under General, because most people don't realize what Squads are all about. If they want to complain that the games aren't fun anymore, they'll do it in General, not Squad Pages.
