It takes forever to load and wastes bandwidth on both sides. I totally agree with you Eizei, it doesnt take long to simply resize them, and cuts down on loading times ALOT. Some (6) of the screens are here, and the thumbnails are resized to 160x120. Got to say the sky looks good, as does the island u took them on. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
drow 0 Posted November 3, 2003 Thanks, yeah some of those are taken on one of our islands in progress, some are just taken on Ia Drang to show the brown water we have too, (I slipped in some of the new grass in progress pics too... hehe) and i will mention the pic size thing to Hammy, Im sure he means to anyways, i asked him to post them last night, so he did it in a rush. I even think that from what can be seen on the screenshots they look much nicer than the textures Kegetys' provided (Somehow they just didn't look 'real' to me). eisa01 0 Posted November 3, 2003 Yeah they're different than kegetys ones. But there are lots of cloud typpes in the world, so noone is more "right" than the other. drow 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Yeah, its using the installer and everything from 'hisky' *** the main 2 sky textures good/bad weather*** are different, now brown colored water comes with it, just remove certain files (moreanim's 1-7) if you dont need the brown water. edit - yea we will prolly release it soon to be the first contribution by The Unsung mod to the community.
