Impavido 0 Posted October 27, 2003 An option to over-load your backpack/inventory would be cool. Lets say that your character inventory was similar to classic OFP with all the blocks. What if there was an extra row of spaces for more equipment, but the catch is that if you place stuff in those slots you will be "Encumbered" by the excess weight. So your chacrater will run a little slower because of all the baggage. This can go both ways too! If you do not fill your inventory slots or you drop a lot of it, you should be slightly faster. This would add some more tactics to OFP2. You have to balance out the risk of being slower with more ammo and firepower OR being a little quicker with fewer supplies! So in a pinch and you know you're getting chased down; ditch the expendable equipment and head for the hills!! OR if you are going to be a hero, dig-in and refuse to retreat...fill that bag with anything and everything that goes boom or makes stuff dead!
PainDealer 0 Posted October 27, 2003 I'd say throw the inventory slots away and replace them with an inventory fully based on the masses of the equipment like in H&D.
