nuddicrous 0 Posted October 15, 2003 Not even having established any sort of connection, my OFP locks up the moment I hit the OK button after putting an Ip address in the remote connection box. Last time I played resistance (a few months ago) it worked... now it does not. I'm using 1.91, I have a dsl connection and the game plays perfectly in single player. Any ideas? Lt_Damage 0 Posted October 16, 2003 check your desktop firewall, make sure it isn't blocking OFP. Check whether you can ping that address ok.
nuddicrous 0 Posted October 16, 2003 I didn't have a firewall installed when this error occurred... haven't tried it since I put this router in. Nevertheless, until then, my problem stands.
suma 8 Posted October 16, 2003 It is very likely OFP is frozen because there is some OS/Firewall/utility message shown on the desktop, which is currently inivisible. Try alt-tabbing in this situation to read this message, or if it does not help, add -window -x=640 -y=480 into your shortcut command line, so that you are able to access the desktop anytime.
