Thunderball

Hardware t&l disabled.

Recommended Posts

Yup, it's disabled and I can't seem to be able to turn it on.

My bet is that it will be faster with it on?

Is there an .ini file I can tweak to get the game to force it on?

I have an Athlon 3200XP with 512mb ram, nForce2 mobo and a GeForce FX 5200 running Omega's latest drivers (www.driverheaven.com) and DX9.

You can't change it from in game.  Are you trying to change it from the external preferences program?(should be in same Codemasters-OpFlash folder in the start menu).

Hah, ok... yes, I tried it from in-game... since everything else in that menu was changeable.

I didn't see any T&L settings in the preferences program(s), so I guess I'll have to look harder when I get home.

Or put a line like <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">HW_Type="Direct3D HW T&L"; in your flashpoint.cfg.

Thanks for the tips!

Now to see how I can get my Windows cursor to disappear from the game WITHOUT disabling hardware cursors in the Control Panel...

EDIT: Aha... the solution was in the FAQ!
