Actually, the first one WAS exclusive for Xbox under a certain time period, per agreement with Microsoft. When that time period ran out, it was of course ported to other versions.

What, was it exclusive for half an hour?

6 months

Just enough time to port it, hehe.

Obviously not enough time to get rid of the arcade-ish console feel sad_o.gif

*One more alarm and the mission is over.

*Step out on the streets and the mission is over

WTF?

As the missions Sam is on never really "existed" I thought he'd have the opportunity to improvise when the SHTF. Typical arcade-ish console roles (if you don't do it right do it all over again untill you do it right, no freedom)

Its a diferent game meant to be played in a diferent way and thats why it is great, it would be more arcadish if we could pick an ak and kill undreds of enemies with it to acomplish mission goals, i actualy think it is realistic to force mission abortion if the player sets too many alarms on, there is even a mission where you have to infiltrate CIA and you cant kill anyone, it all about stealth, infiltration and hiddin in the shadows, hiding the bodies, shooting the lights, etc.

I also believe that if we could just shoot everything that moves to pass a mission players wouldnt get to see/use all the great features of this game, theres just more to it than the usual shoot everything that moves type of games, it is diferent and original and i loved it smile_o.gif .
