SnypaUK 0 Posted September 11, 2003 a rather annoying problem with the AI in OFP is they dont see very far in the day they are pretty much ok but at night unless youve bathed the area in light you have to bee within 10 meters for the AI to see the enemy if BIS made it so that if a unit was wearing NV goggles they could see to 200 meters then it would be alright but otherwise its impossible to have good night battles without you firing then getting cut down as the enemy see you first

SnypaUK 0 Posted September 12, 2003 You know how you have to have one of your units say x at x oclock before your units "see" the enemy and start firing? thats what i mean you have to get within about 10 meters of the enemy. i know that if someone was skylining themselves at night strolling along i would notice them. it would be nice if the enemy detection range was increased by nearby fire or if your unit was wearing NV goggles. and in day if they were using binocular.
