Major Fubar 0 Posted September 3, 2003 Damn we have banners for everything, we need a banner for Fernando the Militant Vietnam Veteran Panda Bear Migrant Worker from Honduras. The reason I made the banner was the passing of Mr. Bronson was a very personal event to me...he really was someone I admired and respected.
Winters 1 Posted September 3, 2003 Aside from the obvious (mag. 7, great escape, death wish, dirty doz.) a couple of other great Bronson movies are: The Mechanic & 10 to Midnight. I also once saw a skit on a comedy show called "In Living Color" where Jim Carrey was doing the "Charles Bronson, Make a Death Wish Foundation" it was freaking hilarious. He takes a kid to an amusement park and the guy at the front goes "hey that's 37 dollars" and he goes "Heres a 45, keep the change" *WHACK!!

Is it possible for you to explain why you admired and respected the actor? (I don't admire actors just so you know, not for acting that is, other issues, like charities they help with, anti-war agendas etc I do respect) You don't have to say anything if you don't want... Well, as I rule, I don't admire actors either. But as a kid, you often idolise the actors in your favourite movies. But outside of acting, the thing that made me admire Charles was stories I heard about his wife developing cancer - apparently he was extremely devoted and basically put his acting career on the backburner to look after her...
