NoToRiouS 0 Posted December 21, 2001 When I install the new patch I get several "Errors found in" just about every missionfile as well as in the addon files. Any ideas?
amos m 0 Posted December 21, 2001 Ppl have reported this. It still says installation successful doesn't it? Just play it dude.
theavonlady 2 Posted December 21, 2001 No! There are warnings and there are errors. Consider reinstalling OFP from scratch. Several people here and on the UseNet OFP NG have reinstalled and no longer received the messages when upgrading to version 1.40. Search The FAQ for "reinstall". mbuhr 0 Posted December 21, 2001 I had the same problem, but noticed that the mission files it didn't like were ones I had downloaded, not ones that came with the game. Does this make sense?
reaper 0 Posted December 22, 2001 I've had to re-install with every patch. I get errors at each patching. I don't use any unofficial addons either. With v1.4 I got a CRC error with the 1985.pbo or something like that. I hit ignore and it finished, but I'm going to re-install anyway.
Sigma 0 Posted December 22, 2001 Same thing here.. and I never have gotten any errors when upgrading.. If i reinstall then I will lose the red hammer addon which i downloaded. And I shouldnt have to pay another 7 dollars to reinstall it.

Sigma 0 Posted December 22, 2001 I did it again and just kept clicking ingnore at each error and it eventually said installed successfully. Played with it with no probs. Says it is 1.40. Didn't notice any changes except minor obvious thinngs to multiplayer. The files i noticed as causing errors were campaign files and the stock single player missons.
