SoulEnd281 2 Posted August 18 Good afternoon from Australia. I am attempting to play Multiplayer Mode on Reforger. Arma Reforger is suffering the same issue it did with launching on Proton back in 2023, and it crashes the GPU Driver hard when I attempt to load into the map. Also, I have no logs AT ALL, so please do not ask, as they don't get recorded by my system, which is Nobara 40, a spin of Fedora. I have gone through 3 different versions of Proton, The standard Proton9-10, GE-Proton9-10 and GE-Proton9-10-rtsp12-hotfix. The game does not launch under the normal Proton9-10 compatibility layer, and hard crashes on the last 2 causing a driver disconnect. I am at a complete loss as to what I can do before using a VM for Windows with PCIe Passthrough to play the game on Windows, as I refuse to re-install Windows 11 on my system. I have gone through every useless troubleshooting step that you can think of, so if your answer to this topic is going to be anything I have tried already, I will let you know. Its not me, not my system, and not my Driver as its Mesa 24.2, and also, please search on https://www.protondb.com for "driver issue" as a Steam User by the name of burnetti had this exact same problem with Mesa 22.3.7. I appreciate your attention, cheers.
SoulEnd281 2 Posted August 18 Now it just blatantly refuses to launch via Proton at all, and so far, I would have thought that someone would have come up with a fix by now, but I guess its a Bohemia issue.
SoulEnd281 2 Posted August 18 Ok, I got it to launch, good, now, for the fun part of sending you all a YouTube video to prove my point.

SoulEnd281 2 Posted August 24 Issue solved. The Mesa driver Developer is looking into it. It looks like he or she has been getting a lot of reports of this game crashing.
SoulEnd281 2 Posted August 28 The issue is still ongoing. The Developer of a custom build of the driver is stumped to find that the game also hard crashes the system when using their driver as well. https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/11780
