IronPyramid 0 Posted June 26, 2005 It would be cool to have two guns, one for each side in the choppers of OFP 2. But I'd also like to be able to shoot whatever I'm holding while riding in the back.
Guest Ti0n3r Posted June 26, 2005 I was stupid enoguh to not read the options carefully. But as someone said, make it realistic. This is not Battlefield.
Daniel 0 Posted June 26, 2005 I'd like a physics engine that gets rid of the "lock down" requirements of all vehicles in Flashpoint. Dunno how AI would handle it, but I'd prefer to have an option to sit down, or to walk about a C130 while its flying, or drive a jeep in the back, and watch and leave it, without it weighing the plane down. Â This would also enable units to fire out of aircraft with their personal weapons. At the same time, this would have to be implemented in a realsitic way (ie, not all units gathering around the back of a chinook shooting their pistols at enemy hinds) though I'm sure BIS could pull it off. DBR_ONIX 0 Posted June 26, 2005 Erm, this is practicaly possible in OFP.. Multiple gun positions should be possible in ArmA okay.. OFP2, whatever it'll be called will be nearly a different game (new engine), which if it doesn't support being able to walk around in moving vehicles (And thus shooting out the back), I will be fecking shocked.. Even DF:BHD does multiple weapons/walkable in vehicles fine, and OFP2 look 100x better than that game... It's extremely unlikely we wont see being able to move around in vehicles (It isn't the Flashpoint engine, so stop using it's contrainsts about OFP2 ), which would be cool, as if the pilot gets shot, no more teleporting to the gunner seat, you could walk over there and mount the gun.. about 5 posts appeared from clicking reply to that page loading - Ben
funnyguy1 0 Posted June 26, 2005 Don't want double guns. I want many more. There's B-17's to be modeled, and battleships and more. Â Seriously though, triples are a minimum, and if you design flare boxes as a weapon, another one or two for your cargo helicopters. You have M2, M240, M60, or M134 on the port and starboard forward doors, and another one mounted on the tail in many cases. The AC-130 needs a whole bunch to to hang off the side. Yeah...AC-130 would be nice Maybe as one of the in-game planes, made by bis? (just a small suggestion ) So you just open the editor and enjoy the fireworks And imagine AC-130 support, or mission in a destroyed enemy camp after the night flight of that monster
