lonesoldier 0 Posted July 25, 2003 Righto. Lately ive been extemely interested in the War. And after watching the movie "Hart's War", ive taken a liking to the Kommandant's leather jacket. Dont get my wrong, im not a Nazi, but i am really interested in this sort of stuff. That jacket looks sooooooo fuckin' cool. Also, did the aussie Officers wear cool Leather jackets like that? What about the American Officers? Anyway, the question i want to ask is: Where can i buy these sort of Jackets? I tried Ebay, but it doesnt have any, that i could find. Im not looking for an ORIGINAL, as theyre too damn expensive (i saw one on an auction site for 1,350 bucks). Also, roughly how much would they be to get made? With Shoulderboards, Rankings etc...? My closet is pretty empty, and i need a good leather jacket. So i thought those army ones look pretty damn nifty. An Aussie army one, or an Airborne one would be cool too. But im mostly looking for an SS Officer's Jacket, with all the badges, shoulderboards etc. BTW, im in Western Australia, so if there is a place in AUS that i could get these jackets from, where would it be? lonesoldier 0 Posted July 27, 2003 Oh, FSPilot, that reminds me, i found a site that makes German Army WW2 Uniforms for movie costumes etc.. Theyre supposedly NEAR Museum quality. The best bit, the uniforms were only around 50-100 dollars, not sure if thats American, or Australian dollars, but it sounds like a fuckin' bargain to me Ill scab up the link and post it here later, if i can still find that site.
