How to make a working bridge?

Hi, is there anyone who could help me to make my bridge work like the one in res.I read the thread where someone discussed this and find nearly the solution,i wrote him(dont remember the name) but i never get an answer.If someone could help me please do it!

not sure how far your bridge development is, but:-

1. 0.00 lod - create and texture your bridge.

2. Geo lod - make sure your bridge's width is wide enough, probably with 2 tank width. Check and ensure u do not have any 'non-convexities'. Also make sure u do not have any component directly overhead of bridge.

3. RoadwayLOD - just create one face ( surface of road) and name Component01.

4. Config your bridge as building class. Must have this line:-

canFloat = 1;

5. Test. Try using one AI car to drive across using one waypoint. Then try using 2 cars, but use 'coloum' formation.

Ive threw together a bridge,I used the BIS model Molo_Drevo_bs.p3d to help you.Just look at it in O2 and see what you can come up with.If you need any help just ask.

NZXSHADOWS maybe you understood me wrong,to get the bridge work that you can drive and go over it,i allready know but what do i have to do that it is shown in the editor as street and that the ai can drive over it i would like to know

but anyways thank you for your fast help

I don't know about showing up as a road in the editor, but to make the AI drive over it, you probably need to make a paths LOD. In that just make a plane where you want the AI to be able to go.

Try changing the "Properties"On all LODs,Change to

Name:class

Value:road

Maybe that might work.
