Planes!

right.. i want to have a plane to be on the runway with the engine running.. but not take off! is this possible?

later i will want it to take off.. so wat do i need...

give the airplane a move waipoint directly at it and use the synchronize command to link it with a trigger with your firing event

Are you sure that will work?

I think a plane on a runway will take off, no matter what.

You could set its fuel to zero, and make a trigger with the init: "plane name" SetFuel 1.0

BUT, of course it wont be setting there with the engines running...they will start up with the trigger, and then the plane will take off.

this plane thats in question is Hawks C-130. and well having that plane on the runway with no fules seem to make a noice and laggs the game up.. plus u cant get the ai to board the plane...

i have found a way to do this.... basicly i put a object infront of the plane and hid it in the groun using setpos and when i want the plane to start moving i just do "Deletevehicle" and hey presto.... thanks for ure help any ways..
