This new Ruger Mini14 Custom by Acecube has got a loooong feature list. Stuffed to the limit with all the expensive and fancy accessories on the market it contains a folding stock, match barrel, custom muzzle break, laser pointer, sure fire weapon light system, harris bipod, 40rd magazine and dual mount for illminated scope AND aimpoint (both functional). The addon has got a custom muzzle flash, reticles and correct shadows.

Ingame performance should be fine due to .paa-textures and full LOD modelling.

Please read the readme.txt for known bugs/engine limitations.

Firstly this is one of the best weapon addons ever made!

Great detail and the sounds rock.Alltough the mussleflash is a little dark but thats okay.

Second point.Everytime I try to view my gear in the mapscreen the game crashes and I have to reset my computer.This has never happened before and it only happens with the M14.

With that bug fixed we'll have one great gun!

JESUS F+++ING CHRIST this is embarrasing! I thought I tested this to no end.  

I've found the Bug and fixed it. A mail to the kind folks that host it for download is on the way. Guess the file with the fixed version will be availiable soon. (it's then called Acecube_Mini14C_FIXED.rar)

Another problem. Whenever I try to start anything with the unit in, I get an error message about something being the wrong size. 256x68, or something? Ring a bell?

It's most prolly the same bug. The picture(s) for the Inventory were wrong size and possibly even corupted. I changed these. Now it's fine. Just hang on till someone got it online. Thanks anyway!

Edit: I dunno what caliber this gun is but my only criticism would be that the shooting sound feels too weak?
