Ati radeon ofp startup problems

Recommended Posts

That's the exact error I got. In order for me to fix it I had to go all the way back to the cat 2.5s.

Opflash runs beautifully with them, no artifacting or flashing textures.

If I try runing any of the 3.x series of Cats, I get that virtual mem error. Weird eh?

Well dang...  read those topics you linked to. Sure is weird, if ppl have kept getting this similiar error with older cards already and somehow it is still around in some form with the newer ones.

Well, i hope someone can fix this sooner or later.

Now I got a different prob, when I launch it says: that my video card ran out of virtual_Memory?

Looks like i got the same problem after i installed Radeon 9800 Pro today. Tryed the latest catalyst drivers and the omega ones too, but keeps giving the same error.

Have you managed to solve this one yet? smile_o.gif

Here's a pic of the error.

I know what it is. It's when you installed 2 many addons. I Deleted ofp (not my users folder, duh smile_o.gif ) and trew away ALL addons and reinstalled the shit, now it works fine, except the few freezes. oh well ofp2 will arrive soon. smile_o.gif

Ahhaa! I do have quite a lot of addons installed. I will reinstall and see, if it starts working for me also.

I was using the hacked Omegas, was getting a bit of graphical corruption so went back to the regular Omegas, when I load Opf I get green screen or weird spikey textures, alt+tab back to desktop and back fixes it though, also got the "cannot memory map" message for the first time ever, moved o.pbo to addons and it worked fine smile_o.gif
