100 years of motorized flight

There will be a big airshow this weekend. It ius near munich at the outpost of the Deutsches Museum in Schleissheim. The museum has it´s own runway´s and hangars.

They are expecting 250 planes for the weekend.

The Eurofighter will be flown there. Same with Tiger and a lot of other planes and helicopters.

There will formation flights, airshows and parachuting. At least 250 planes take part. The show starts on friday with the touchdown of the planes one by one. There will be show programs during saturday and sunday. Try to get your hands on spotter tickets as it will open the gates to the main airfield and close positions for photography.

I´ll be there from friday afternoon till sunday evening. We will do a parajump on saturday and sunday if weather is fine.

Sunday I have more time if anyone wants to meet me there. Saturday we have to secure the Tiger and Eurofighter from souvenir hunters

BTW if any modeller or addonmaker needs 3 side pics of any desired aircraft/helo gimme a shout.

I remember throwing cans of lager from the wing of a KC-135 at cadets in 2001. The Yanks got us wasted, and then proceeded to trash their aircraft. (Deckchairs will do no favours to your wings. Big black marks and exposed metal)

Those guys are funny, i remember when we were having a look at the HH-53 and the americans were giving us a guided tour, spinning the miniguns and making lights flash, we waited until the end of the tour and they were demonstrating the cargo configurations. One of the guys then said

So how do you fit a herc in there then?"

They were angry and we were pissing ourselves, not very nice of us granted but hey.
